It is very common to feel wary of sharing our deeper thoughts, feelings, and concerns with others, especially when we think that no one else will understand. Group therapy is a powerful way to receive support and recognize that you're not alone in the struggles you are facing. Each group is designed to address a specific topic where group members can connect with one another and identify effective coping strategies. Please note that groups will begin once enough people sign up (minimum of 6 people per group). If you would like to be added to the group waitlist, please indicate which group you're interested in via contact page.
In this group, we will explore people pleasing patterns, connect around how and why these patterns develop in the first place, and work towards improved relational balance between giving and receiving. Strategies will include identifying healthy boundaries to set with ourselves and others, and holding ourselves and each other accountable to follow through with goals and making helpful changes.
In this group, we will connect with others who are facing grief, sorrow, and uncertainty around how to continue living life after loss. Group members will support one another in processing the full range of complicated feelings experienced during the grieving process. We will also create space to honor our grief while finding meaningful ways to move forward.
In this group, we will aid one another in understanding our patterns of anger and the consequences these patterns have on our lives and relationships. Sessions will focus on identifying mindfulness-based strategies to enhance a sense of emotional regulation and control. We will work towards responding mindfully, rather than reacting impulsively to feelings of anger.
In this group, we will uplift and encourage one another in healing from the past and moving through complex trauma and chronic PTSD. Group members will have opportunities to process and release painful emotions and experiences. Sessions will focus on identifying creative and neuroscience-informed strategies to decrease PTSD symptoms, enhance overall wellness, and build a sense of trust in ourselves and others.
