glad you're here!

Dr. Jacqueline Burke, owner

I am a licensed psychologist with a Psy.D. in clinical psychology. I started Buxmont Psychological Services after 7+ years of training and working in a variety of community mental health settings in Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties. I have worked across all levels of care including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient. I specialize in treating a wide variety of psychological concerns for individuals, couples, and groups. My mission is to provide a nonjudgmental space to heal and offer support in identifying what you’d like to change and how.

seeking change?

transformations may be closer than they appear

It takes a great deal of strength to change what is no longer working. Sometimes we reach a point when the pain of staying the same begins to outweigh the anticipated pain involved in change. When we're willing to face our problems honestly, we invite transformation into our lives that allows us to release the past and embrace new possibilities that are readily available for us in the present.

you're on the right path

Whether you're currently at a crossroads, breaking point, dead end, or new beginning, seeking out professional support is a sign that you're on the right path. Regardless of how stuck or hopeless you may feel at present, being open to change and willing to work towards what you want are strong indicators that you will benefit from therapy.

here's how I can help

I offer specialized services tailored to meet your personal needs and preferences. I am trained in providing current, research-based psychological interventions and treatment approaches designed to help with your specific situation. My goal is to help you move through challenges as effectively and efficiently as possible so you can get the results that you're looking for. I have extensive experience working with people who face a wide range of mental health concerns and are of culturally diverse ethnic/racial backgrounds, religious/spiritual backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and physical disabilities. I encourage clients to bring their full selves to each session without fear of being judged or misunderstood.

in person or telehealth

I offer both in person and virtual/telehealth sessions, with my office located in North Wales, PA. Some clients prefer to come into the office to enjoy a different setting from their daily lives.
